Inquire

I honed my research skills and my understanding of the scientific method, and I learned to select instruments of inquiry, to apply statistical analysis, and to write a research proposal.
I realized when writing my proposal The Information-Seeking Behavior of Experienced Researchers in Archives, that I needed to acquire a deeper understanding of analytical statistics. That experience gave me the confidence to craft a second research proposal, Going the Distance? Determining Whether the Columbia State University Library Distance Liaison Is Adding Value to the Distance Learners’ Library Experience.

For my second proposal, I applied my skills to determine how to to evaluate the effectiveness of an imaginary program at an imaginary university. I believe that this type of inquiry is an important component of managing library resources and the public's money.
