Mentor
I am prepared to guide, model, and teach library and information literacy skills to information users and my colleagues. I learned to teach in a variety of settings and to different audiences. I am practiced giving short, one-time, point-of-delivery instruction, seminars to small or large groups, and to plan several lessons that build on each other.
I use these skills and knowledge in my previous job at Sno-Isle Libraries as a technical liason when I help patrons who need quick guidance to build a technology skill or for an hour-long workshop in using the library’s new online public access catalog.
